Cannon Michael
President/CEO
Cannon is the President/CEO of Bowles Farming Company. He is the 6th generation of his family to work in the family farming business. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Cannon joined the company in 1998. Cannon became the President and CEO in 2014 after his uncle Philip Bowles retired. Cannon is an advocate for California agriculture and intelligent water policy. Environmental stewardship, ethical treatment of workers, and sustainable production are all extremely important to Cannon and the Bowles Farming Company team. Cannon splits time between Fresno and Los Banos. He is married to Heidi and has three sons - Nick, Luke, and Drake.

Derek Azevedo
Executive Vice President
Derek Azevedo is the Executive Vice President of Bowles Farming Company. Prior to joining Bowles in early 2017, Derek spent 12 years working with farmers throughout the Central Valley as a business development representative for the world’s largest tomato processor. Derek graduated from Kansas State University and currently resides in Gustine.
Helen Bohr
Office Manager
Helen Bohr is the Office Manager for Bowles Farming Company. Helen began working for Bowles Farming Company in 1978 part-time. In 1979 Helen started working full-time for BF Chemical as a chemical purchasing agent. In 1980 Helen went back to work for the farm and has held several different positions. She was born & raised in Los Banos where she still resides.
Ingrid Soriano
Clerk
I am born and raised in Los Banos, CA, lived on and worked on the Dairy farm and ranch. Went to school in Los Banos up to High School. Took some college classes paid by Bowles. Started working for Bowles part-time filing, weighing trucks, etc, on May 25, 1979, until 1982. Went on full-time in August 1982 to hourly payroll, Accounts Payable, Receivables, scale, etc. until present. She now resides in Los Banos.
Wes Carter
Ranch Manager
Wes Carter is the ranch manager for Bowles Farming. Wes started his career on his grandfather's ranch in the Dos Palos area for 15 years before he went out on his own as a custom spraying operator for the next 4 years. Prior to joining Bowles Farming company in 2022, he managed a ranch in the Firebaugh area for 2 years. He now lives in Dos Palos with his wife and 3 children. His hobbies are hiking and fishing with his kids.
Fernando Banda
Facilities Manager
Fernando Banda is the Facilities Manager for Bowles Farming Company. Prior to starting Bowles, he spent 10 years as an agriculture field tech. He started in 2017 as the watermelon packing supervisor. After watermelon season he was given the opportunity to become the facilities manager and oversee the shop and all maintenance activities for the farm. He graduated from Los Banos High and attended Merced Community College in Los Banos. Fernando currently resides in Los Banos.
Rachel Mendoza
Agriculture accounting technician
Rachel Mendoza is the Agriculture accounting technician and organic program manager of Bowles Farming Company. Prior to joining Bowles in 2005, she served in the US Navy and afterward worked in Los Angeles at a property management company in accounts payable and as a Notary Public. Originally from Hollister, California Rachel graduated from San Benito High Rachel currently resides in Los Banos, California.
Lizette Esquivel
Receptionist/Clerk
Lizette Esquivel is the Receptionist/Clerk/Notary Public of Bowles Farming Company. Before joining Bowles in 2017, she worked as a Lab Technician at Liberty Packing Company and afterward worked at McSwain School District in Merced California. Lizette graduated from Los Banos High School and attended the Merced Community College in Los Banos. Lizette currently resides in Los Banos, California.
Antonio Hipolito Martinez
Finance Manager
Antonio is the Finance Manager for Bowles Farming Company. He has worked in multiple industries (manufacturing, banking, and high technology), primarily in accounting and finance roles. Before joining Bowles, Antonio worked at Oracle Corporation as part of the income tax compliance team for Canadian and Latin American entities. Antonio is a Saint Mary's College graduate and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics. He currently resides in Los Banos.
Eduardo Garcia (Lalo)
Technology Manager
Eduardo Garcia is the Technology Manager at Bowles Farming Company. Before joining Bowles in 2017, he graduated from Merced Community College receiving his associate's degree in Computer networking. He first started working at Bowles as an irrigator and tractor driver. He then was given the opportunity to work in the technology department. Eduardo currently resides in Dos Palos Ca.
Alvaro Ruvalcaba
Irrigation Supervisor
Alvaro Ruvalcaba joined the Bowles farming family in 1991 as an irrigator. Two years later he moved up to a tractor and cotton picker driver. Alvaro has 15 years of experience with cotton picking and 8 years of tractor driving. In 2016 he moved up to an area foreman assistant and managed irrigation equipment. A year later he was promoted to irrigation and sprinklers supervisor. Alvaro currently lives in Dos Palos Ca and enjoys spending time with his family.
Ricardo Ruvalcaba
Special Projects Supervisor
Ricardo Ruvalcaba is currently the Special Project Supervisor at Bowles Farming Company. He joined the company in 1998 as an irrigator. In 2003 he had the opportunity to learn and drive tractors. He did five years of tractor driving and harvesting cotton. Ricardo then began working with mixing and spraying chemicals in 2007. In 2015 he became the supervisor of the chemical warehouse and watermelon operations. Ricardo currently lives in the city of Dos Palos Ca.
Wayne Pricolo
Agronomist/Pest Management Advisor
Wayne is the company's in-house Agronomist and Licensed Agricultural Pest Control Advisor. He is responsible for the Pest Management and fertility decisions on the ranch as well as supervises over Applications of fertilizers and crop protection products. He has been with the company since 2016.
Prior to joining the Bowles team, Wayne was an Independent Pest Management Specialist for 20 years working with several growers and diversified crops in the Central Valley Region. Wayne graduated from California State University Fresno in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science/Crop Protection. Wayne was born and raised in Los Banos where he still currently resides. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family!
David Calderon Villa
Furrow Irrigation Supervisor
David Calderon is the Supervisor for Furrow Irrigation. He joined the company in 1990 as an irrigator. After 3 months of working, he then started working as a tractor driver. David was then given the opportunity to work on the spray rig for a couple of years. In 2019 he then started working on the Grader. David took an important role and is currently in charge of planting and harvesting cotton. He currently resides in Los Banos, California.
Ulises Urenda
Drip Irrigation Supervisor
Ulises Urenda joined the Bowles team in 2011 as an irrigator. After working on furrow irrigation, Ulises learned how to work on drip irrigation. In the fall, Ulises started helping out as a tractor driver. Once he learned how to drive the tractors, he started helping manage irrigators. Now Ulises is a full-time irrigation supervisor. During the fall, Ulises manages drip tape installation and removal. Ulises currently lives in Los Banos.
Alfredo Lopez
Equipment Operation Supervisor
Alfredo Lopez is currently the Equipment Operation Supervisor at Bowles Farming Company. Alfredo joined the company in 2001 as a tractor driver and also helped as an irrigator. He then had the opportunity to work as a welder for the shop. Alfredo then got involved with tractors, helped fix and connect implements. Alfredo enjoys dedicating time to his family and currently resides in Los Banos, California.
